MICE

Meetings, incentives, conferences and exhibitions (MICE) for corporate planners and the travel trade, operated on the ground in the United Arab Emirates.

Two coasts, one operation

Beneficial Travel Inc. was founded in Los Angeles in 1987 as a Chinese-language tour operator serving North American outbound markets. BTI Tourism FZCO, our Dubai office, has run as the on-the-ground destination management company (DMC) for the United Arab Emirates for more than twenty years. North American corporate buyers are handled through Beneficial Travel Inc. in Los Angeles, and Asia trade through BTI Tourism FZCO in Dubai. Pricing and live availability are confirmed at quote stage.

Why the UAE for groups

Connectivity.

Dubai International is served nonstop from more than 250 airports, and Abu Dhabi's Zayed International from more than 150, so most groups fly in without a connection. Emirates and Etihad carry the bulk of it, and the major international and regional carriers fly in alongside them.

Schedules move, so we confirm routings and connection times at quote stage.

Tax environment.

No personal income tax, free-zone structures that simplify cross-border events, and a flat value-added tax on hotel and restaurant bills. Municipal fees and any active relief measures are confirmed at quote stage.

Programmable year-round.

October through April is the high-conference window; May and September run reliably for sun-led incentives; summer programs operate indoors with desert sunrise and sunset hours. Ramadan welcomes visitors, venues stay open, and iftar evenings add a cultural layer.

Infrastructure.

Expo City Dubai, convention hotels, and a transport spine that moves groups of 50 or 5,000 with equal calm. Visa on arrival or e-visa for most source markets.

Venues, a working shortlist

Expo City Dubai, convention district.

The post-Expo legacy district: the Dubai Exhibition Centre, the Al Wasl Plaza dome and a constellation of pavilion-style break-out spaces, with the metro on site. Native infrastructure for main-stage audiences of 5,000 and more, with adjacent food and beverage and ride-share zones.

Atlantis The Royal, ballroom and gala.

A pillarless 2,500 square meter ballroom with adjoining pre-function space, 2,200 for a reception and 1,600 for a banquet, and 795 keys on site. The Royal also offers buy-out scenarios across its signature restaurants by Heston Blumenthal, José Andrés and Nobu.

Museum of the Future, launch venue.

An architectural icon for product launches and brand evenings. The museum experience and the Level 7 ballroom reopen in the first quarter of 2027 after the Mission 2071 rebuild; the ground-floor Auditorium stays open for private receptions and launches throughout. 800 for a cocktail, 300 seated, two minutes to the metro.

Unique and heritage venues.

Jumeirah Marsa Al Arab signature suites, Louvre Abu Dhabi after-hours receptions, the Bab Al Shams desert ballroom, Al Marmoom conservation dinners, dhow dinner cruises and private charters from Dubai Marina. From 30 to 800 guests, after-hours museum access, 45 minutes to the desert.

Pricing.

Per-person pricing varies with hotel category, season, group size and bespoke programming. BTI returns a full costed proposal within two working days of receiving the brief.

Customization.

Treat the shapes above as anchors. We also run two-night flash incentives, longer roadshow circuits, and hybrid conference plus leisure splits.

How we operate

Multilingual guides.

A full-time bench in Mandarin, English, Spanish and other languages on request, all licensed by Dubai Economy and Tourism. Lead guides for groups above 80 guests are appointed by our operations director.

Vehicle fleet.

Coaches below two years old. Mercedes-Benz V-Class and S-Class sedans for VIP movements. SUVs for off-road desert and convoy work. Wheelchair-accessible options on 48 hours' notice.

24/7 ground operations.

A duty officer is on call for the entire program window. Airport transfers begin with a meet-and-greet at the gate, with a lounge available on request. Lost-document and medical liaison are handled in-house.

Customization authority.

Single-point program design from one operations lead; we do not pass briefs through three intermediaries. The person quoting your program is the same person on the radio during it.

Two-price rate sourcing.

Every hotel line is checked two ways, our own contracted rate against a live bed-bank benchmark, and we book the lower. The saving is shown on the quote, not kept as margin.

Trilingual trade desk.

English, Traditional Chinese and Arabic across the sales, operations and on-tour teams, the same three languages as our partner bulletin and every rooming list we run.

The December headline

Abu Dhabi Grand Prix hospitality: Paddock Club, Yas Marina suites and grandstand allocations for the season finale, with the post-race concerts. Yas Island hotels sell out first; we hold inventory a year ahead, so book early.
